spike?

i have just adopted my first pet. we had an assortment of animals growing up, but this is the first pet i've chosen for myself! it's a rosy boa, only about 14 inches long. he's not used to all the cuddling and playing i want to do, so he pooped on me yesterday when i was trying to get his picture. Gideon thinks his name should be Spike. i like it, but i'm open to other suggestions???
